Happy Smashing Pumpkins Day!!!

July 7th was officially named Smashing Pumpkins Day in Chicago back in the early 2000's (I forget exactly which year...2000 or 2001?) It was kind of a one shot deal, as I understand, but fans of the band still sometimes commemorate the day.

In recent years, memory of Smashing Pumpkins Day seems to have faded somewhat, but Shadowland would like to keep this tradition alive. So take some time today to listen to some SP and remember all the reasons you love the music this band has created and what it means to you. Rawk on.
